This is a partial list of our coaches as there may be special assistants throughout the year.




Jay Deal

2009 Shady Side Academy graduate.  Since 2013 Jay has been the Shady Side Academy middle school coach for football and lacrosse.  Jay coached for 3 years at Fox Chapel High School and is now the Assistant Coach of Shady Side Academy varsity lacrosse program.  Following the footsteps of two older brothers, Jay played Lacrosse in high school and college at Division I Ohio University.  Jay looks forward to a successful spring season for all U15 players.


Adam Szczepanski

  • 2006 Graduate of the Berkshire School in Sheffield, MA.
  • 4 Year Varsity Lacrosse Goalie – 3x Western New England All-Conference Selection
  • 2010 Graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier, OH with a bachelor’s degree in Economics
  • 4-Year NCAA Division 3 Letter Winner at Kenyon College, 2009-2010 Kenyon College Captain
  • 2012 Graduate of Durham University (Durham, United Kingdom) with a Master’s in Finance
  • 2011 United Kingdom Lacrosse National Champions

Jason "Rosie" Rosenbloom

2011 Graduate of Hempfield High School in Landisville, PA. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences with focuses on international relations, religious studies and history. Played MCLA lacrosse for the Pitt Panthers, primarily serving as an extra man specialist. Rosie is serving in his second season as a coach for the team. 



Charlie Sliger

Charlie is a 2012 graduate of Fox Chapel High School where he played varsity lacrosse and earned the title of defensive MVP his senior year.  Charlie earned his Bachelor's of Science in Geology from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania in 2016. During his free time at Allegheny, he enjoyed playing club lacrosse for the Gators.  He is very excited to return to PYLAX as a coach, as he and his two older brothers all started out with the program.  Charlie loves spending time outside and works as a park ranger, raft guide and ski patroller.
